I just received permission to MD an old school site today. And they asked me if I could help them locate the Time Capsule that they were unable to find when they tore down the old school. This will be an awesome experience. I cant wait. I hope to be at it by 10am tomorrow morning. I will post anything I find.

Good Luck, I hit an old school that was raised a few years ago. One of the town councilmen and I chatted and he has heard from many of the old timers that every class back in the 30's and 40's buried time capsules on the school property.. The school was of brick and mortar construction, so after they tore it down and back filled the site with fill dirt. I did not get many signals, and those I dug were newer trash that came in the fill. The issue is what were the time capsules buried in, (I assume a mason jar) who knows. I never located any deep targets nor any of the time capsules.
