get a magnet with the hole in it and bolt it in place.

Yes it's an oil pan magnet, I'll fix it with a washer and a screw. I did fix one already at the scoop itself.

Amazon has a whole selection of magnets with and without holes.
On my old Royal (regular steel dry sand scoop) scoop I use a rare earth magnet just stuck to it and it never moved.

I'm looking at these scoops and really "digging" the price. If I'm going to be using it in gravel/river rock and not much sand, do I want the rounded bottom version or the triangle/bent bottom?

This is the scoop, looks really strong! Haven tried yet, I'll let you guys know the performance.

What is the model or part number of the one in the picture. I like the one you have with the back brace support. I looked at the ones on ebay he has and they have a wire type brace. What was the price if you don't mind. Thanks
