These are all finds from the field that never fails. The first pic is of my grandfathers finds, the second is of my axe finds. Except for the monster at the bottom. My little brother pulled that out of the field. These do not include the ones my uncle has found. Probably about 12 more. Sorry about the repost, lack of hunting has me wanting to share...

I've always wondered if those axes weren't used as weapons. In that case, you'd have found them all in a battlefield.

I believe that they were. Or at least used for hunting kills after they have taken down an animal. The bigger ones were probably used for breaking out river ice as well.

That's some kinda field! Axes were primarily used on wood, chopping down trees for the most part, splitting wood, same things we use axes for today really. That's a lot of axes for one site, you and your family had/have a gold mine there!
