AZ gas pipe line cutting through the desert

The photos were taken in the areas just north of the table mesa rd exit,up to just north of Black Canyon City. Sad to see how they ruined a picture perfect desert. I hope that this does not lead to the expansion of the I-17 by-pass through the same areas. Pic. 8 is the storage yard south of BCC.

on the bright side they uncovered a lot of virgin ground, happy metal detecting.

wonder how many guys will dig that up in ten yrs thinking its one big nugget
 

I wished I had a gas line in front of my house instead of buying the ultra-expensive propane.

Nice photos, wont the landscape grow back?
 

Take Table Mesa rd exit, head north along west side of 17, turn east towards river, cross river, go southwest a little and then head north west up into the mountians and you will find the silver mining ghost town of Tip Top as posted in forum section "X marks the spot"
