Why I ask this they need water and food and they can get this from the Rio Grande this makes the site even more plausible.

No you don't need electronics, Sandy1 has provided this guide all you need to do is follow it to the letter to make a big discovery . Lot of these locations electronics are useless to make a recovery you have to beat there engineering.

I can get pretty close things do line up and on 123 variations pretty easy

I wish I could I have a base camp south of Deming off the 10 have not been down there in a few years. Pictures don't do any justice only being on site will solve it boots on the ground is what it takes. You just need to take your time and be very careful who you get to help you it is something that is not easy believe me I personally know.

You probably wouldn't like it much there. It could be argued that the only point of interest south of Deming might be in the Tres Hermanas, just straddling the US side of the Mexico border. There's a couple interesting Villa treasure cache rumors there.

getzwilder, based on the information and photos he has posted anyway, seems to be way further east, somewhere east of the Rio Grande, possibly in the southern portion of the Caballo Range.
