In the 1940's, B.O. was what you had when you didn't practice proper personal hygiene (Body Odor).
In the late 1990's, B.O. was what you didn't want to see infecting your computer (Back Orifice - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back_Orifice).
In the late 2000's there came to be another use of the term B.O.
A compilation of the two previous uses, B.O. now really stinks things up worse than a homeless person on a three week drunk . . . and has wormed its way into our lives in ways that B.O. could never have dreamed of.
Well, it started out kinda amusing . . . now I'm not so sure.
Maybe what we need is a bit of soap and a system restore
