Back from Copán

My wife and I spent last week at the Classic Mayan ruins of Copán, here in Honduras. It was truly fascinating, and the site is so secluded the first white man to find it must have been desperately lost! I took nearly two thousand photos, most of interest only to serious history nuts.

Here are a few of general interest, including a couple alters, one of which was used for human sacrifice.
