WTG Les.....great looking finds!!!

Great job Les. I bet your heart skipped a beat when you first saw that coin. Did you have any problems getting the detector on and off the ship? I'm going to Nassau at the end of the year and was gonna try to find a beach to get some hunting in. Are there any cruise lines that anyone knows of that don't allow detectors? Thanks for any info. biggmike

I have never had a problem with Royal Caribbean. I hand carry mine in and had no problem taking it off the ship in any of the ports. I also hand carried my detector on Carnival, no problem.

Welcome back Les . Nice finds . That fake coin reminds me of the fake chain I found. Makes your heart skip and makes you feel faint for a moment . Nice looking jewlery.

sounds like two nice spins....the lane and the ocean - kewl beans

Les Cool finds and thanks for the info on carry on Detector.
Another note of importance on travel and equipment!.... An old timer in my club had a heads up about a treasure hunter having trouble with his battery pack on an airline, so he decided to take a brochure with pictures of his detector and battery pack. They did detain him in isolation and the pictures and brochure seemed to have saved him alot of aggravation!
On the fake coin did it have a "copy" stamp on the back? like the one I just found? Someone I.D. it as a Spanish Reale 1700s
