Back in the gulf today with the Excal

First time in the water with my repaired Excal ll and my home made straight shaft. I only found some clad, but it was a beautiful day and the water was like a mirror. The Excal worked fine with the modifications i made to the original Anderson shaft. It balanced out nicely in the dry and I had less fatigue to my swinging arm. The pickings are getting very slim and I need to find another beach. Being retired gives me time, but I need to do more research. Maybe a generous hunter will direct me in the right direction.
