Hi everyone!! I had a bad day detecting a while back which left me kind of discouraged (no deep signals = no good finds :( ). After a slooow day woods and park hunting on Tuesday (only a few toasted pre WWII wheaties), I met up with Pocket Spill, Gimme the Loot, and another detectorist at a park spot for some night hunting. Less than 6 feet from where I parked my car, I dug what appears to be a Victorian style doorknob part or possibly a drawer pull. Also dug a '64d Roosie, 2 indians ('02, '07), 7 wheaties (teens-'50s), a spoon ring ('20s maybe??) and a few bucks in clad. All in only about 4 hours!! Returned last night for more, again with PS. This time, in about 3 1/2 hours, I found 4 wheats (teens-'50s), a '57 Roosie, a BEAUTIFUL '07 BBQ ;D , and a little over a buck in clad. I'll be back to this awesome location as soon as the weather improves. Two day totals: three silvers ('07 BBQ, '57, '64d Roosies; 2 indians ('02, '07); 15 wheaties (teens-'50s; not pictured); spoon ring (rang up like a pull tab, so possibly silver plated nickel ??? :dontknow: ); Victorian style doorknob part or drawer pull; and about $10 in clad (also not pictured). Pics below. Enjoy!! ;D

AWESOME!!!!! Just bring a headlamp to see in your holes so you don't scratch any coins (especially dark colored copper coins such as wheaties and indians). Also (obviously) you have to be in a safe area. Many areas where I detect during the day, I would NEVER hunt at night (it just isn't safe after dark).

Glad you're back on track Clad!

Great hunting with you Paul. Great to see another Barber Quarter come out of that area. It's a beauty!
