Went back over SW of Fairplay CO and camped in the spot I wanted to get last week. Weather more like I'm used to this time of year. 45 in the day, 25 at night, drizzling rain all day but snowing higher up. Finally cleared about sundown with a clear starry night. Perfect camping weather for me. Drove home this a.m. through a minor snowstorm up on the divide and a little dusting here in Summit County.

I'm upset because the low will be 59* or so on Saturday. Beautiful country to look at on my computer, but camping? You're a better man than me...
