today I remembered the Original Dirt Road that lead from the Church to Town

and the c1865-66 School House that sits along it

Still no Old lady I was told in the past comes out with a broom After people.

Bit of a Change, Grass needs Mowed bad
and there are 2 cars sitting there in positions that suggest they
are not used anymore.

still no one around to ask who owns it, & with the high Grass,
would not be too fun to hunt anyway.

I like that toy, I only have found lead soldiers and a weird looking wizard! I see that the late 1850's map is made from the same publisher as the one I use for my town. Those maps are extremely helpful!

Maybe she is throwing plastic eggs at people. [emoji1]
I have found broken plastic eggs but no whole ones yet.

I did find what i hoped was the gold/diamond ring that i seek,...but when i got it home and put my glasses on, nope! Just junk.

One of these days i will get someone to teach me how to post using the new T Net app.
Till then...i'm a ghost! [emoji1]

Check your county tax assessors office, they can tell you who owns it and give you an address to contact them at.

there is no tax site online, without paying .

I love the plastic egg, must be a genetic thing. I found a haul while mowing the church two weeks ago. My wife always says I need a little Jesus in my life. I think I fulfilled that request..... [emoji23]

Jeff, it is hard to tell if you go by the dish alone. Those things are left to rot long after the original user has moved on. Got 5 in front of our apartment now and only one is in use, the rest are just sitting, fading away as everyone else is on cable. if not mowed and no car movement, I guess the research for owner is next. I like the idea of mow for detecting time but who knows who would greet you at the door? As for the Easter eggs, looks like you got your haul!

Yes I see them Dishes everywhere too.
My neighbor has 2 on his Roof. or at least did last time I looked & let it sink in .
I guess they are so cheap they are disposable to the dish network companies .

I know I'm making the locating the owner of the School Harder then it is.

there is a speed Shop

000.jpg

Catty-corners from where the other end of
the former road comes out

0001.jpg

So there is always at least someone local to ask.

Now that I know for sure the Old Lady with the Broom Weapon no longer exists :tongue3:

And it is a New Owner I'll keep a bit of an Eye on the place.
Mowing is not something I can Offer.
I'm a 2 to 3 Nitro person mowing my own grass .
don't want to fall over on that back road :tongue3:
School was erected in 1865-66.
church erected 1829
Notice something else Interesting ?
