I want to check in with the collective brain trust and see if anyone has a recommendation for a backpack that would hold a Minelab CTX3030? I have normal carrying cases for my detectors, but I need something that I can strap on my back when day hiking to more remote locations, or when traveling on a mountain bike. The detector would not have to be entirely enclosed. I have several backpacks for normal hiking, but the fabric seems a bit lightweight. I am thinking something more heavy duty, with a padded back, comfortable straps, and an outside pocket for water. One sees a number of imports online, but it is hard to judge the quality. Silly not to ask the folks on this forum. Thanks in advance!

depends on size of machine, when compressed, taken apart for travel.
Get something that has equalizing compression straps, to steady your load.
