One of my banks said they won't order my 2 boxes for me anymore that I got every week. I think the new vault teller is lazy. She said she called a higher up about it and was told she didn't have to order them.

I told her that was no problem another of my banks said they would be happy to order 10 boxes a week for me.

On the plus side I cashed in some half dollars today and inside the tray I saw a ring I fished out. Looks like a cheaper men's ring with no stones. But it looks like on the inside it says 10ct.

Buy the ten boxes from the other bank, and take a big dump on the bank that refused your order.

Of course if that Bank uses same delivery service you may well be kraping in your own bowl; I'd just find another palce to dump far far away like another Fed district.

It's about and hour and a half to get anywhere near another district from here. The bad bank doesn't have a counter or I would dump on them. I only have about $700 that I keep on account their. I was planning on building that account up but won't do it now. I'll put my money in the friendly banks.

I weighed that ring. It's 4.29 grams. At current gross melt value its worth $53.14 minus the dealer profit if I sold it.

If you had the time you should dump 2 boxes a week on them and make them think, or realize it's a lot better to be the pick up bank rather than the dump bank.

If you weren't so far away, I would dump on them. I almost enjoy dumping on bad banks as I do mining the silver. On occasion, when I need to keep bank managers in check, I'll load up my dolly and have it on standby in the lobby/foyer while I casually ask if they have any halves. Inevitably, the answer is no which I'll reply, "you do now". In comes the dolly with 8K in rolled halves. Usually, I dump in bags with my one dump bank. They don't mind as I do a lot of business with them. But every now and then, a different branch gets an attitude. They in turn get heavy metal.

Bummer on the bank but congrats on the ring!
