It's been a while. I haven't been finding much, so I was been quietly moping around..

So I decided to call a credit union to order me halves - they said they would..

One thing they said that just about every other bank has said was, "You know we cannot guarantee what you find in the boxes. There could be older coins in there."

Really? As if I would mind finding older coins to "fill my album"..

Bummer man......I know everyone on this forum is only looking for the "new" ones. ::)

You can send me the "old" ones, in exchange I'll send you 2011 p's. ;D

The teller is either messing with you, or dumb. You better check that bank for CWR and bring them treats so they are nice to you :)

The teller really isn't "dumb" its just that the majority of collectors who CRH do it to get the newest things like state quarters, presidential dollars, etc. And so the teller is used to people trying to find the newest state quarter but not someone looking for a Franklin half. She just assumed that you were looking for a box of all 2011s like people who order solid rolls of presidential dollars.

depending on the teller's tone, the teller could be either sincere or be really sarcastic.
