Wow! Thanks Huntress and Natchitoces- Those are very nice.

I think I need to make a couple 3 hunts devoted to finding one of these and nothing else...
Maybe focus will draw one out of the dirt!

What would ya'll expect or predict thier rarity would compare too- maybe an unbroken drill, or fluted clovis, or strike by lightning...?
Thanks again.

i found 1 in 40 years of hunting , and i hunted almost ever day

I don't know about rarity. I found mine in a creek bank on our property and didn't even know what it was until I posted it on TNet. Lots of knowlegdeable folks on here. I would guess they would be few and far between. I don't think there are as many of these found as there are arrowheads and other tools. I read somewhere that the chance of getting struck by lightning is like once in every 80 years, and hardly ever in the same place twice.... ;D

Dang,
Might take more than a couple 3 hunts then....
Natchitoches- mispelled your name above- and believe it or not- I went to 4-yrs of College there at NSU...
Have you walked the banks at Toledo Bend? Never have I seen it that low! Tried a trip or two but all I found were footprints.... what size shoe you wear... Hehehe....
Thanks guys.
