Metal Detecting
Windy but otherwise nice and sunny here in New Jersey so managed to do a little metal detecting here in town today to find a 1915 D Barber quarter, a 1914 Buffalo nickel, an early 1900s Eagle Shield button, a 1970s Hot Wheels Odd Rod, an old iron harness buckle, a Remington UMC 12 Gauge Nitro Club shot shell head circa early 1900s, and an old Yale lock. 0.webpCollage 2020-04-01 20_54_42.webpCollage 2020-04-01 20_52_28.webpCollage 2020-04-02 10_30_14.webpCollage 2020-04-02 21_31_18.webpView attachment 1817805View attachment 181780592017958_10206649139025315_4158357679238021120_o.webp

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Great finds - the Barber looks real nice !

That Barber looks like it came from a coin shop! You guys on the east coast sure get the goodies. Gary

I know its been said already, but that Barber is gorgeous!

Beautiful quarter and other cool recoveries, Congrats! :occasion14:

Nice way to start off the spring! That quarter will look nice in the display case!

Very nice finds. Love the back to back years of the Barber/Buff. They belong together!

Congrats for all those great finds- that Barber quarter is a beauty!

2.webp3.webp Was actually my first Barber quarter. Was about 8 inches deep and shining away in the mid day sun when uncovered. Found the Buffalo nickel a few feet away and the button from the same time period close by.
