I got a 11 inch coil for my XP Deus week. Its been sitting there because how busy I been at work. Well i was gained access to a site in the original settlement in my town. The yard was small but in a prime spot. I pulled out alot of trash but the highlights of the day was a 1898 Barber Dime and a Wheat. I only had a hour to hunt this morning but ill go back when I get some more time. The coins are taking a bath and ill post them when they are clean. Here is a few shots from this morning

Very nice barber dime. As suggested try to clean your silver coins first with a baking soda and water paste. If that doesn't work zap em.

Congrats on the silver!! :occasion14:
Soak your silvers in vinegar, it wont hurt the coin and cleans them just like new..

Ill be Honest with you , Please Don't Do that to a Semi Key or Key date Silver Coin.

The look just does not "float my Boat" . But That's just my Opinion.

Carefully Research Rather You Should Clean Or Not to Clean & Your Method of Cleaning.

Still a great Coin , Your doing Better Than Me , I have not dug A Barber in Years.

Not trying to be Mean.

I degraded my First Barber Dime over 14 years ago & it Still Bothers Me.

i hear ya most of my silver cones out clean or with so soap being not a key date and wanted to try it i did. oh well life lesson
