Hello everyone . The hunted out park in town gave up some goodies! I found 2 barber dimes 1912 D and a 1905 O, a 1936 D Washington quarter that I wish was in better condition, 2 Indian head pennies and about 4 wheats. The highlight of the day was finding the complete National Guard Medal from 1914! I have another that is a little different than this one, but they are the only two to come out of the park to my knowledge. In 1914 there was a National Guard Encampment here that lasted a little over a week or so. The medal says "NatL Guard Encampment Natches, Ms 1914. Very excited to find this one. Had a great day detecting!

Wow, fantastic day out there! Finds like those make up for all the skunky days, don't they? WTG

Love those Barbers. Great loot!

That's a really cool medal. Good hunt!

Check the detail on this Dime! And yes I have been in a slump since November. The medal is my favorite of all.

Great finds don't seem to be too hunted out congrats

Congrats to Zaxfire - great hunt - show him some dirt and he'll find the stuff - Nice coins and metal and relics

That medal is something special! The coins are nothing to sneeze at, nice work for a "hunted out" park. Good job!

Awesome job! Great finds. Did you find them with the AT Pro? I can imagine the F75 would pull even more goodies in!

Those long green things are rope fasteners. In other words, they are used to take up the slack on the rope tie towns that are attached to the tents. Good sighn of tents, encampments, etc. Keep at it, most like more period coins of the like in that area. Nice finds................Rich

Very cool silvers

I tried using my F75 that day, but there was a lot of EMI interference that day. The AtPro was less chatty so I used it.

Yes sir I have dug quite a few of those tent rope tighteners over the years from this area. Buttons, collar brass as well.

I'm ready to go again. After this rain this weekend it should be nice for next week.
