Took the wife out for a short hint on our way to town. Found this Barber dime at my favorite place. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1499010929.344142.webp

I cannot make out the date yet, I will have to wait until I get home for better optics.

Thanks and HH!

Congrats on the Barber dime very nice

Congrats, 1893 all day!!!

Yes, got it home and it is a no-mint 1893. My oldest silver to date, not bad for the West Coast!

I did not realize that I was 2 years off of a seated coin, that would have made my day.

Awesome job digging a Barber dime, one of my fav coins to dig!

Nice beerguy!! You love that spot! :)

Holy smokes, well done! You almost never see silver that old coming out of Washington.

Great coin! Its funny the masses of people don't know the history of our coinage. I sure have an infection for these coins now. Your seated should be right around the corner!!!

You can recognize the corrosion, I bet.

I pulled a few Mercs out last weekend, and a Buffalo the day before this one, still a productive site.

It is my oldest silver by a few years. This site has coins from 1900 and on.

Here is a walk down memory lane, all from this site:

I hope so. That would be a great barrier to break. Washington became a state in 1889, that is a date I have had in mind that I would like to surpass.

I am off this whole week, so maybe this is my chance.

Thanks to all the comments and HH to all.
