I am interested in diving wrecks on the Caribbean island of Barbuda. I have done a dive on a turn of the century steam ship, heard tales of u-boats that were scuttled and of wrecks on both the E & W parts of the island. I hope to find remnants of the Spanish merchant, Santiago de Cullerin and other vessels. Any insight to on reseach would be appreciated.

How long have you been diving?

Got the Robert F. Marx book, Shipwrecks of the Western Hemisphere, 1492-1825. Lots of new information to research and learn about. Looking forward to some exploration in the near future.

Did you get any further with this? I have been researching and diving Barbuda for the last 30 years perhaps we can swap notes?

I have not made much progress. Still working to gather information and coordinates. I hope to dive more sites on Barbuda this year.

The reseach continues. I look forward to diving once the winds let up. Let's connect.

Ok where are you based? my email is antiguadivingsvs@hotmail.com
How did you manage to keep your hotmail address? They locked my account and wanted me to jump through impossible hoops to keep it. I figured they wanted to do away with it. I haven’t seen a hotmail address in quite a while.
