Thanks Kevin, I think that also might be one of my problems. I have a hard time judging if it's too steep, and when I try to have it running steeper I have issues sleeping my bazooka in place. I honestly think once I make my stand for it I will be having less problems because I will be able to play more with the angles and things like that. As always Kevin thanks for the advise

Does the material you are running have any gravel (small rocks) in it or are you running straight sand?

Well I have not gone out prospecting for about a week and tomorrow in going to take my bestman in my wedding out panning for his first time. I cannot wait to go with him , I haven't seem him for about 3 months because he moved way up north. Hopefully we get a good amount gold tomorrow morning!!!

Well today's little trip was a lot of fun, taught my buddy how to pan and got some good gold too! We did about 6 buckets of material through the bazooka and found a dime from 1995

My buddy doesn't have any pans or anything ad we mainly ran the material my bazooka. But he was able to find gold in his first couple of pans

Yeah it sucks, but i am sure I could did another spot to got to along the river. I thought i was ok to go there but I guess I was wrong, this sign didn't say you couldn't prospect.

So today I went out on an adventure with some people I met on Facebook on a gold prospecting group, and they were kind enough to help me get on some amazing gold today!!! I am forever grateful for the nice people helping me get better at finding gold. So I got my first pickers today and the chunckiest gold I have ever seen in person. Also found a cool piece that is shaped like ca!!!

I went back to place I went with Cathy and her husband David with my prospecting buddy. We did about 18 buckets through the bazooka
