So I found this autographed baseball on a bookshelf that I haven't touched in years. I have no idea how it got there and I don't have any documents or anything to tell if it is authentic or not. On top of this, I barely know anything about baseball and players.

From what I could find out on my own, it seems that Joe Torre, David Cone, Jay Tessmer, Mike Stanton, and maybe Paul O'Neil have signatures on the ball. The rest I can't make out. I found out that Torre started managing the Yankees in 1996, and the players that I could find on the ball were part of the roster from 1996-2000.

Since I can't tell who else signed it, I'm not sure exactly which year's roster this could be from. I also don't even know if it's real of fake, so any help would be appreciated. I have 6 pictures for all 6 sides of the ball, some signatures might be upside in the pictures. Thanks.

Are all of those signatures on this ball?

I think CW is just providing a list of the active roster at that time so that you can scan it for possible matches.

While I am by no means a experienced autograph authenticator I have seen my fair share of signed memorabilia including autographed baseballs fake and real. From what I saw these look like real hand written signatures. Now whether or not someone else did it or the players did is a completely different type of expertise.

I question if they are real. Everyone is signed with the same amount of ink, with the exact same amount of pressure put on each signature. Or so it looks like to me.

2nd pic bottom signature looks like Derek jeter, 3rd pic middle looks like Mariano Rivera , 4th pic bottom looks like Bernie Williams, hope that helps

Would you guys say that the top right signature in Picture 6 is Tino Martinez? If so then I believe it would be a 1996 ball.

Also, the the first of the two vertical signatures in picture 2 looks to be Andy Pettitte.

It's not an official Rawlings American League baseball, so that sends up a red flag for me. Anyone with any common sense would have them sign an official baseball. Just my take on it.

It could be a stamped baseball. Many teams sell stamped team signed balls as souvenirs. I doubt it, but you never know. But if it's real, the value would be limited without a certificate of authenticity and the fact that it's not an official American League baseball.

There is this odd looking symbol right underneath Joe Torre's signature, so I'm not sure what that is. My dad had said that they may have gotten it from a house that was being cleared out because the owner had died. He had collected a lot of sports memorabilia and we took this ball. I think for now I have enough information to know that it as signed by the Yankees in 1996. As for authenticity, there's a local shop I can take it to in order to get a professional opinion on it's worth. Thank you everyone for your help.

Show the rest of the side with the Collectors stamp. I'm pretty sure it's a ball that was sold at the stadium with stamped signatures.
