Battle of Mill Springs

Nancy Ky is home to one of the newest national monuments, Mill Springs Battlefield. Originally known as "Battle of Logan's Crossroads". Here are some maps and photos I found. The PDF file is a more detailed map of the area where the battle took place and is easily referenced to a current google earth map of the town. Not allowed to metal detect any of it but it's interesting to see where the camps and other things were located then and now.

Yup, that's the way to do it,
now you gotta get in during the Honeymoon-Stage of getting used to Managing
a Site like this - it takes Careful Planning for Interpretation to the Public,
and the Curation of all the Battlefield Relics....er, ARTIFACTS...!
So things like that take money to do, but Crucial to the Park,
and top of To-Do List...!
