Battle of Mine Run Finds

[Valley Ranger]

L to R: Confederate Gardner, 69 Caliber minie, button back (most likely from a general service eagle button), another Gardner, and a 58 caliber minie. Not a lot of finds, but enough to make it interesting and keep me happy. The weather was beautiful and the fellowship was great. The hunt was sponsored by the Rapidan River Relic Hunters Association.

Looks good to me Richard. Every piece of history is important. Think what a small % of the population ever has the thrill of digging a CW bullet?? HH, Q.

Thanks everyone. A couple of fellas found complete, unexploded shells. Someone also found a silver Virginia button. All in all, a good day.
