Hello lookingharder,

As a newbie, I was looking for a bazooka sluice as well. I finally found one from paydirt.se
They sell internationally if you want to look into it.

The expert fluid bed sluicers on this forum prefer the 'new' improved Grizzly Gold Trap over the Bazooka. I know I will step up from my Bazooka when I'm ready.

that is a knock off. only Bazooka cause someone else called it one.

It may be better..but, shipping and cost will put you back quite a bit. If you want one in the U.S.

In the U.S. it's find one second hand or get a GGT which is a big improvement.

Bazooka gold trap is gone and no more will be made.

...and the www.grizzlygoldtrap.com is improved AND a sponsoring vendor here so it’s ok to directly promote them :)

Their products really are better!

Sort of.

Golddog, Thank you for the info you sent me. Ill post what I told you and maybe get some more input since after talking to you, I don't know what I don't know yet. I live in South Central Virginia and according to what I researched there was a large gold deposit from DC, south to the state line and then it turned west towards Durham. From what I can find, it was mostly in mines. There is a lot of red clay and I have found huge quarts crystals in the clay. Does anyone know if sluicing the small streams for surface gold in Virginia will produce any gold or is it all buried in mines. Again I'm so knew to gold prospecting that I really don't know the proper terminology. Several local rivers have flat bedrock with parallel cracks the I would like to search.
