How did you manage to find a piece of platinum?? That's amazing.
I've just never heard of platinum lying around anywhere.

The Spanish used to believe that platinum was immature gold. They threw it back into the water so it could mature. I'm hunting a site on the Gulf where Indians traded with the Spanish. We pull up all sorts of crazy stuff. Thanks for looking..

I wish they had done that in my neighborhood.

Finding platinum is better than finding gold. That's a great find.
