Beach MDing

Decided to head south for a couple of days of R&R and brought my metal detector 'just in case'. Needed a sand scoop and got one from Myers Metal Detectors in Tampa. Phil was a heck of nice guy. Hitting the beach tomorrow.

Hit Fort De Soto Park for a few hours. One of the few parks where you can MD. I just had to register at the park office. Found some clad, fishing equipment, and a lot of pull tabs. I learned how the Outlaw reacts with wet vs. dry sand which was cool. Met a few nice folks too.
