This dime was found on the grounds of an old stately home in Tecumseh, MI. It was about 6-7" deep. It is the oldest Canadian for me to date.

Nice looking silver and in pretty good shape for it's age....most GV or older silvers I find are worn to the point some of them don't have a readable date.

Nice catch !! Not only is it silver, it also has numismatic value. It was minted in both a Narrow and Wide "0" varieties.
If it can be graded VF-20, the 'narrow O' is retail valued at $75; if it's a 'wide 0', the VF-20 value jumps to $125. ($125 and $225, respectively, in VF-40),

Very nice find, with all of this snow though , I think hunting is suspended for a little while.
