Beach Scoop Lanyards

Just wondering if any of you have some photos and advice on a type of lanyard for your scoops while beach/water hunting. I'm looking to drag it behind me within reach, and so I don't lose it while chest deep.

If your in the market for a new scoop the Diamond head's handle floats, I like not having anything tied to me.
