Not while detecting, but in Yellowstone. Sure brings on the pucker factor...

not detecting, have been chased by a sow with two cubs but she quit me after about thirty yards(I didn't quit for about another fifty.) I have gotten on numerous bears and most went the other way. a few weren't in much of a hurry, even after I popped one several times with rubber shot from a 12 ga. He kept looking back at me like he was getting a fix on what I looked like. Had the game and fish come trap him and move him. well now you know that your heart is still okay LOL. I think that a big boar hog makes me pretty nervous as well
