I had a great weekend, saved some history & even found a little treasure! Saturday I got out with my buddies Lanny & Chris. We got some new land to search & found a late 18th century site. It produced around 20 buttons altogether. I only found 5 but found a nice silvered dandy button & a cool flat button with a design. My best find there was a beautiful Appalachian blade that is 3500-4500 years old! I also found a few nice broken points & a tool. Today I decided to hunt for a few hours at the 1940s apartments down the road from me that Carolina Tom & I have been hunting. My 2nd signal was a beautiful 10k gold men’s amethyst ring (probably 40s)! Treasure! I also found a silver quarter, 2 silver dimes, a buffalo nickel & 3 wheat pennies. Not a bad afternoon!
