Got out for 2 hours at old house site in King William VA. Scored my first almost complete powder flask and it's a real nice one. Also an 1907 IHP and pretty cool bottle.
Have not found it under AM Flask & Cap Co.
Have found another listing on fleabay calling it a dog and tree.
Looks to me like a dead deer under/beyond dog. Too big to be a rabbit.
Yours is listed on page 319 ID No. 600 in my copy of The Powder Flask Book by Ray Riling as being a flask in the category of "Dead Game," but there isn't any discussion as to the maker. circa 1865-1872.
