All day hunt with Bigmike and it was a fun day. Bigmike started out on fire with a tungsten ring, a silver cross and then a gold band all in the first hour. About six hours into the hunt a lady called me a over and asked if I could find her gold earing. She lost it in waist deep water about 20 minutes earlier. She said her mother gave her the earrings and she was upset. I told her that I wasn't finding anything anyway and I would be glad to look for it. After searching for about 20 minutes Bigmike showed up and joined the search. Another 20 minutes and I hit a solid mid tone and told her I think Ive got her earring. One shallow scoop and I had it. I looked in my scoop and said "NO WAY'. Bigmike asked if I got it and I said "no, look at this. It was a beautiful 14k gold cross weighing 5.5 grams. Bigmike found her earring a few minutes later and we were given an 80 dollar reward. My slow day made a quick turn around. Bigmike ended the day by finding his second gold band of the day. A day we wont soon forget. Good luck to everyone.
