Metal Detecting
Hey folks!
I visited one of the parks today for metal detecting. Spent 3.5 hours down there. It was not disappointing and frustrating at all, guys, cause I found the most beautiful find of the season - this gold ring with the red stone. It has only one marking 14K and has the weight of 6.7 grams. It was hiding at the depth of 10-11 inches when I found it so I assume it was lost 30-50 years ago. The other finds were 2 Canadian quarters - 1953 (SF variety) and 1960. The funny brass token has GINGIN NATI on one side. The other side is blank. So I think it is the vintage token to buy a couple gin shots somewhere in Cincinnati (Ohio).
Cheers!

That's a great looking gold ring, Congrats.
Getting a couple of quarters sure is a good day in any park, that's for sure!
Possible it's a ruby in the ring.

Hey Buddy!
Yes, the ring is very nice one and the sone looks like new one. It doesn't have any scratches on the surface. Thank you!

Silver and gold makes for a great outing. Congratulations to you and thanks for sharing.
