Beaver lake?

My dad bought me one of those modern un-fluted "Clovis points" a while ago and not knowing much I tried to make it look like a large Beaver Lake,any idea on the material?

What area are you in?
I was first thinking Boyle or Pipe Creek, but it could be Haney. just a guess.

A beginning flint knapper. Good on you for taking up the challenge. Knapping is not easy to learn. It reminds me of playing with a Rubik’s cube, if you know what that is. I knapped for 4 yrs before I started getting good, and another 20 after that. Getting raw material was the biggest challenge. It’s expensive to buy just for practice. For you, in central IL, the closest flint is in Pike Co. Next closest is Union Co. I don’t recognize the material of your point but it doesn’t look like any IL flint I’ve seen.
