Hi all, I have not been out in almost a month . Myself and hikenmtns hit three mountain passes and the first two only turned up a couple of coins and an old key. The last one we hit was a nice hike up in the hills but luckily we found a narrow service road that got us up 3/4 of the mountain.
I started hunting and a few coins started to turn up. Good times and good scenery over all. I did almost have a heart attack when I flipped a big rock over to see an Asian viper chilling there. Before I could get a picture he went into the rock pile and I was not about to dig him out.
Over all it was a good weekend.
The oldest coin is 1670 . Now if I could just find some silver ,life would be good. Silver coins are rare here in Korea but my buddy has found a few Japanese silver coins but just a hand full in the past 30 years. The small pointed item is an old cigarette holder. Maybe 80-120 years old. Always nice to find something new.
Thanks for looking.

Hiya Birdman! Nice to see you posting again. I really wish I had been in the hobby when I was in Korea. Nice finds!

Great to see another post from you Big Guy. Good to see you're still out there swinging. Congrats on the finds. :occasion14:

Very nice finds.

You are amassing quite a collection of square holes Trent. Nice key!

I always like seeing the coins with the square holes. I have where a Chinese railroad labor camp lived on my property in 1882 so I have found more Asain coins than anything. Thanks for sharing.
