Detector(s) used
Whites M6, Whites Pulse Diver, ETRAC.
Third barber this month. Third year detecting and the barber quarter has eluded me, then three in a month? Hit an old site with a different technique with the same machine and found 4 silver keepers. Two buffalo head nickles, two large British pennies(1930,1936), barber dime, 1945 mercury dime, 1899 barber quarter and a Standing liberty quarter. I have been over this spot a few times before, but the targets just appeared, but deep.
All the best.
Off to England for a while chasing the dream. See you when I get back.

Excellent finds. Condition isn't great, but hey, silver is silver. Nice heart.

I'd try Electrolysis.... :icon_scratch: http://gometaldetecting.com/electrolysis_cleaning.htm :director:: Careful you can damage coins or get shocked!! :blob8: Along with other hazards... :protest:

Kids ask your parents ! :icon_thumleft: :help:

Keep @ it and HH !! ;D :D

Its always a thill to find something decent at a site you've pounded before. Congrats! Were you using the M6, and what new technique did you use?

Good finds, the way silver prices are going up, we are expected to see a Metal Detecting frenzie in the very near future. Way to go on those silver coins.

I initially used the M6, then put it away and tried the Whites pulse diver(all yellow older machine). I have to dig everything because it has no discrimination. I turned up the threshold to the point it was buzzing loud in my ear then I was swinging the coil nice and slow. This is when I began hearing faint deep targets.
