Re: Belgian's Rocks

County? I don't know. My mother's family had a farm near Punxy, in the neighborhood of Elnora, Panic, Desire. I've been to the rocks twice, once in the sixties with my grandfather, and again in the late 90's with my uncle, son/daughter.

You will find your rocks a few miles north of Grampian, Pa, off of route US219 or a few miles east off of route 879.

Re: Belgian's Rocks

Wheresit & Jeff... thanks!

By the way, Elnora (I think I'm spelling it right) is where part of my mother's side of the family lived, a road from Elnora actually cut down, up and back into the family farm. As I kid in the sixties, by standing on the hillside above the farm, you used to be able to see it (just a collection of houses). Today, it is less obvious.

Re: Belgian's Rocks

Elanore Would be in the area of Panic But gone for the most part.
Maby these days has taken on the name of the closest town
sort of like a Suburb.

I found an ElMora in Cambria County.

But still can't find Elnora Sorry.

Re: Belgian's Rocks

Is this another spot where outlaw, counterfeiter, and highwayman, David Lewis visited? More info on timeframe would help me out more. He did haunt the Clearfield area as his mother once lived in the County.
