Used to do a lot of thermal and environmental phone testing, parametric data included. If we could find one putting out the 1500 or 1600 watts necessary to pop corn that fast that would have gotten heads turned, ears baked, etc...

Biggest output for phones is satelite phones. The first couple generations put out a pulsed signal that went hi and low. Top output was almost 40 watts but it was momentary and very well directed, as they use a directional antenna.
