I know here recently I was complain about people not writing reviews on their experiences and use of detectors between different units.

I have plastered this thread up the past 3 days showing units on video in my test bed.

Well I have to apologize here because, I am posting another one!!!

Apparently no one wants to write up anything anymore or share thoughts between units!
Anyways so here we go again!

Here is a video of the XP Icon vs the XP Deus 2 both using the 9 inch FMF coil.

The XP Icon with its stock coil and wsa-st cost $699.00 MSRP here in the USA.

Recently XP has introduced the Deus 2 with the new stereo firmware abilities. With that said the cost went up about $400.00 US dollars here in the USA.

The new XP Deus 2 with a 9 inch coil and the WS6-ST backphones cost $1699.00 MSRP in the USA.

I know you can call your favorite dealer and get a discount.

I am sure even with a discount there will still be a cost difference up to about $1000.00 US dollars give or take $80-$100 dollars.

However is there really a $1000.00 difference in performance between the units both using full tones and wide open discrimination?
