Those are pretty cool where did you find those and its hard to tell the size try putting a quarter next to those. Ive found one bell in all my years detecting cleaned it up and have it in my display case I found it at a old 1800s mill site.....Tommy

Thanks Tommy, I found the one on the left in Hillsbourough and the one one the right in a secret location haha. One came from an mid 1800s site and one came from an late 1700s early 1800s site. I'll post a pic of them next to a quarter for you. -Mike-

Those are known as conestoga bells. Apparently they were on wagons.
 

Thanks for the info steve, people have told me they were wagon bells I just didn't have a name for them. I'll look more into this for sure. It sheds some light on a site I've been detecting. I appreciate it. -Mike-
