Nice find ! I use nvr-Dull wadding to clean items such as yours.It is not abrasive .As long as you don;t get carried away rubbing with it you won;t lose any patina.AFter rubbing, polish it with a rag then give it a wash with soap and a toothbrush to remove any left over residue.God Bless and HH..Panz
