I found these in 2 machines near my home. The 3rd local machine was out-of-order. 23 pennies and 4 foreign coins. The shiny pennies were in one of the machines, jammed in the input slot. I used a credit card to pull them out of the slot. The dirty, corroded pennies and the foreign coins were from the other machine, in the return tray and some on the shelf. The coin in the top left is a 1943 steel penny! The other interesting penny is in the bottom row. It seems to have been bent and stretched somehow. It is cupped by about 0.03" and the diameter is larger by about 0.06".

Thanks for looking, and happy hunting!
Don

That's a "Texas penny". Someone pounded it (usually between two pieces of leather) to remove the copper. The result is a wider-diameter penny.
