best coil for the v3i?

Looking for the best depth on coins. Are the sef coils the answer?

I know a guy that has 3 sef coils one is huge, he claims the the D2 gets as much depth but uses them to cover more ground in open area's. I bought the 13" ultimate DD coil for my MXT looking for more depth, while I didn't get amymore depth its as deep and went over an area I pounded with the D2 coil and found about 3 more deep silvers on edge that it gave a better signal that made me dig. The D2 picked them up but since they were on edge and 10" to 12" deep the target didn't sound good enough to make me dig and those can be passed as a trash target. HH

The 10 inch d2 seems to only reach about 7 inches with the standard coin and jewelry program. If I change the filter to 5 kHz then crank up the rx gain I will get 10 to 12 inches in the air, was wondering if anyone has a coil that tops that for the V3i?

The super 12 will see a little deeper then the 10" dd at least in ground with low mineralization. I've read a lot of bad reviews for the sef coils for the v3i. They supposedly have problems in 3 frequency mode.
