Best day

Well today was NOT one of my best days but I didn't go home empty handed. Especially when you consider that I was hunting my own back yard and and the yard of an empty house next door. I ended up with a couple tools and 3 pennies. WOW! You know what? I don't care! It was really good to get out hunting again even if I can't go in to the beach.

It's the hunt, not the finds that is fun. Well, finds make the hunt more fun, but even if not it's fun, unless you don't find finds a whole bunch of times in row, then maybe not.

Very nice finds. Nice tin snips, looks to be in good shape. I've had good days and I've had bad days, where I've only found a penny and scrap. It's not what I found but the fact I got out and had fun. The finds are the bonus prizes.

Hey Catbird! No water hunting for me for a while. I'm still in the air boot and will be for another month possibly two! RATS Altho............................. I am seriously thinking about going to the beach and hunting the wet sand. I'm not supposed to get the boot wet but it the water comes in and hits it.... oh well I'll just have to dry it out. heh heh

BTW Boy it looks cold where you are at!

Put a hefty bag and some duct tape over that boot and go hunting.

Now Mumzsie, I know it's hard, but you best behave yourself! Do what the doc says, or you will be out of action even longer!! glad you got out in the yard tho. looks like a good haul. love the snippers. gosh, maybe you can even find gold right there in your own yard. wouldn't that figure?
