Sorry, but this can't count as a duet as there is a chorus singing with them :tongue3: The song sounds good as this was a classic Earth, Wind and Fire hit... By the way EWF put on one heck of a show, I saw them in MSQ, NY as the opening act for Sly & the Family Stone in the mid 70's.. They were better that Sly :headbang:

I wish they had the Peter Cetera and Cher song available in stead of Amy Grants.

Yes sir or alone. Orbison possibly was one of the finest male voices of at least the last 60 years.
His vocal range is said to be unsurpassed & only 2 male singers in the last 50 years were able
to hit the E note above high C . Andrea Bocelli & Roy Orbison.

No brainer.................

Funny you sat that, I thought that Freddie Mercury also had a voice that would rival many tenor opera singers.

Like I said earlier, there are so many greats to choose from, Simon and Garfunkel, the Righteous Brothers were also high on my list. The list of great duets is nearly endless and we didn't even start on the soul side yet :laughing7:

Freddy Mercury(D4-Bb5) and Rob Halford(D2-B5) and Chris Cornell(D2-A5) have massive vocal ranges.

These are all good. I love Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton singing "Islands in the Stream"

I agree!

Had to think about this, Simon and Garfunkle.....maybe?

I'm too country, my first thought was Brooks and Dunn!!!

Dear group;
Here is my contribution. OK, it's not exactly a duet, but hey! I think duets are tacky as a rule of thumb!

Freddy Mercury had a great voice, but don't even mention him in connection with Roy Orbison.

Love Willie Nelson , 7 Spanish Angels & especially Mama don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys.
Good music, lyrics & listening. Can they be compared to the voice & vocal range of Orbison - never .
That choice isn't mine , many professionals say Orbison had the purest male voice of this last 50 years.

Captain & Tenille ? ::) That's a good one. ;D
