Which U.S. coin do you think has the best depiction of the bald eagle?
Also which one has the worst?

I think the Walking liberty half dollar reverse is the best there is. Hands down.
The Indian head gold eagles (quarter, and halfs) of 1908-1929 is really nice too.

For some reason I never liked the eagle on the reverse of the Morgan dollar. It looks more like a hawk than an eagle.
But thats just my opinion. What do you think?

I pick the Standing Liberty Quarter as my favorite, and the Kennedy Half as my least favorite.

To me, the best eagle design in on the reverse of the good old Washington quarter (1932-1999).

Worst...though I like them all, it's gotta be the Kennedy half.

I love the eagle on the reverse of the 1918 Lincoln Commemorative. This example is an ANACS MS61 from my collection.

The worst eagle on any US coin has to be the puny little thing on the back of Franklin halves....

I like the eagles on the Seated Liberty coins. This one is from my collection.

That's a beautiful eagle.

For me that trumps anything I've seen yet.
