It's possible to get a great buy rarely, so I guess I'm rewarded 25-50 cents an hour for my thousands of hours looking. Best wishes, George (MN)

Good Mornin; I found an exact duplicate of the electric clock that hung in my mothers kitchen,75 plus or minus five years ago. I am looking at it as I speak. Bob

I havn't bought off Ebay since they changed it to
PayPal only. No Money Orders

However I got a few good deals over the years.

trick is, Don't bid till the last 10 seconds

Last 5 seconds is better.

If you bid early you are pretty much Guaranteeing
you will get a counter bid.

Decide what you want to pay
wait till the end and throw it in
during the last few seconds.
If somone else does the same & out bids you,
Get over it. another will come along sooner or later.

Just don't play bid games or you'll
Pay too much.

You can actually still send money orders, sellers just aren't permitted to say they accept them. That said, you'll probably find the vast majority won't want to deal a MO so in a way it is Paypal only. (or the few other options there is)

I used to buy and sell on Ebay and after they started hiking the fees up I quit them all together.

As a buyer I got some deals and as a seller I occasionally got burnt.

It's strictly Amazon for me now.

A Fisher CZ-6 with 3 coils for $230. You can still sell on eBay & demand money orders. It says Paypal accepted automatically but you can start ad with No Paypal No Paypal. They charge 9% final value fee for auctions but 5% final value fee for fixed price. So it's better to do fixed price buy it now. You can lower the price if more than 12 hours left, and won't be charged extra for changing price. Sort of a reverse auction. Best wishes, George (MN)
