Spanish reales - 4 half reales and a 2 reale in center.

1809 Liberty cap dime - possibly a $900 coin.

1901 Barber Quarter - love the back design of this coin!

1796 Draped Bust Copper - nicked with brass coin probe.

Two key date Indian heads - 1871 and 1872.
They start at 55.00 and 65.00 at lowest grade.

Probably my best year of finds ever! :)

Hey O7, I do think the Barber Quarter has one of the best designed backs also. But I'm wondering... How you gonna top last year? Nice digs all!

thanks, Lowbatts! I really don't know the answer to that question but a gold coin and 3 cent silver are still on my list - to name a few. May never find a gold coin but then I didn't expect to find 5 reales this year either.
Which just goes to show - ya never really know what the hunt will bring!

Nice Collection Ocean.

I agree, nice collection there Ocean7,

doubt I'll ever find any reales here in MI and still looking for that 1st Bust piece ???

thanks all!

lonewolfe: in MI unlikely to find Bust piece - ya normally need a colonial site. The bad thing about LC's is that copper really gets corroded badly after that long in soil. But you can't have everything! *L*

SUPER FINDS ALL VERY NICE THATS THE BAD THING ABOUT WHERE I LIVE NO COLONIAL STUFF

Fabulous finds! Makes me jealous.....we may not have any colonial stuff here but still lots of old places and other interesting and sometimes valuable finds. Jim Cal

:D Spotz, did you see the flying eagle made by the Yank,s in a C/W camp listed on the treasure net fourm. Two finds what are the odds?Think it was under relics.HH

Jim Cal - thanks!

JARMAN - if you find one of any coin type in a given the area, the odds are high another exists in same place, because in that time period - that's what people were losing from their pockets.

Now that's imprssive! Beautiful coins. Sure wish I could find just one of those!

bump to top for someone who didn't see this post.

This is still one of my best years MD'ing. Last year, I missed most of the second half of year - so my finds were way down after June. This year should be much better.

Drool-o-rama!

I'd have to travel a long ways to get anything like most of those.

Congrats on some super finds!

thanks gents!
:)
